Lately I've been obsessed with monotone pieces put together to create a suit, especially if they're of the silk variety.  This one is not made of silk or any semi-precious fabric, but I just got a pair of navy silk trousers to go with a Carole Little silk top that I will be posting about as soon as I decide on the shoes to incorporate into the outfit.  Color-blocking is fun too, but the monochromatic persuasion really reminds me of old photos of those stylish women of the 70's and 80's.

I love the idea of galaxy painted..... EVERYTHING.  But sometimes it's hard to find specific things that you want that aren't overpriced just because they are trending.  My friend took the time and put in the effort to paint these shoes for me, and I love them!  Next on my list:
