Hawaii is the only state in the US that grows coffee.  The term 'cup of joe' was coined during WWII when the GI Joes were frequently seen drinking coffee.  70% of people in the world drink a type of coffee called Arabica, and 30% drink Robusta, which has 50% more caffeine.  I drink a lot of coffee but never really found out anything about it besides that it's from a bean, it has amazing magical powers in it called caffeine, and that it tastes good.  I found out about the interesting reaction that caffeine has on receptors in the body.  read about it here!!!
