She is the sh*t.  I first saw her in magazines like ViVi and Sweet, but just found a video floating around on the internet that she did for H&M life, about her DJ style.  She's a model in Japan during the day and a DJ at night.  The video takes us with her to her favorite vintage shop in Shibuya, Nude Trump.  Ahhh, that sounds like a job straight out of heaven!

Menswear

There is absolutamente nothing worse than a man without style.  For me, if they don't have flair-worthy garb, they might as well be floundering around in the air of existence, like a speck of dust in the wind.  These guys here at Street Etiquette know what they're doing.  A sense of fashion always seems to help the confidence within burn more brightly.  Style on a man can also symbolize creativeness or represent self-worth.  Also, when a man dresses in an original and artistic fashion, he can be epitomizing his acceptance of his self while radiating poise and sophistication.  Sigh... If only I could surround myself with men who dress like this everyday...

I especially like his bold color choice, floral printed (embroidered?) linen trou, and his orange and white polka-dotted handkerchief. 

These shoes are incredible.

I esp. like his pants.  From the color of the photo, they look like they are hand painted in a galaxy print, but I'm sure they are just splitter-splattered, acid-wash style.  All the same, a very cool look!

Clown-ing Around

Sorry for lack of updates, my dear reader(s)!  I just purchased these babies on Sunday at goodwill for 6.99. Take 20% off that for having my student I.D. on me.  They are so like clown shoes and the ugliest shoes I've ever had that I am in love with them.  And what the $%@#!!!!! My camera is so crappy.  That's what I get for using a camera phone.

Sucker Punch

I know this is so asian of me to like, but I just saw the movie Sucker Punch and totally have a girl crush on the main character Baby Doll (played by Emily Browning).  She's oh-so-blonde but dressed up in a slightly skimpy Japanese schoolgirl uniform pretty much throughout the entire movie (except when she's wearing the occasional dress/pajama set).  I like the contradiction of a caucasian girl dressed in a sort of trendy Japanese strict high school outfit made sexy by the lowered hems and cropped tops.  She's also put in several video game themed real-life action sequences, adorned with a samurai sword and a gun, complete with several dangly-charm thingies that girls like to attach to their phones and bags.  She's unbearably cute and sympathetically innocent throughout the movie, while seen as a deadly warrior against her enemies.  I loved the outfits but wasn't able to find my favorite outfit, the finale schoolgirl outfit, embellished with sparkling jewels and silky fabric.  I think I've found this year's Halloween costume!

Read fast!  My favorite collection from Wildfox.  I love the silky, drapey, feminine and edgy looks created in this inspirational editorial.

Leather, Silk & Oxford

Don't know who this model is, but she's gorgeous!  Kinda reminds me of an androgynous look of a super mixed ethnicit, similar to those seen in Hawaii.  Doesn't she look a little local?  Love the styling of this editorial as well, very preppy-schoolboy with a sweet feminine twist.
